Dr. Olga Lobban
     Dr. Lobban  joined the Physics faculty of St. Mary's University in the Fall of 2003. She received his B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).  She received her Ph.D. in Physics (Experimental Particle Physics) from Texas Tech University in 2002.

     Prior to coming to St. Mary's University, Dr. Lobban was working on her research at Fermi Lab and she was an adjunct professor at the College of Dupage.  She has worked as a scientist mentor at the Lederman Science Center, and a research and teaching assistant at Texas Tech University.  Dr. Lobban is the faculty advisor of the St. Mary's Chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS), and since she took over the organization, the SPS has won grants and has started a local outreach program.
